Run For Office

Are you interested in helping your community to become a better place? Are you frustrated with the encroachment of local government upon your everyday life? Do you wish that you could do something about the increasing taxes, infringement upon property rights, and in complexities of starting a small business during a rough economic period?

SD41 is looking to assist tomorrow’s leaders in getting into local government. Maybe your interests lie with school, city, or county issues. There are more opportunities for service than you can imagine. From local Park and Rec boards and Planning Commissions to School Boards, City Councils, and County Commissions, there are a number of appointed and elected positions that need principled people. They get local experience, and build a resume to gain a better shot at higher office.

Whether you aspire to be governor someday or serve one term on city council, your fellow residents could use your voice on their behalf. Maybe you know someone in your community that you think would make a great leader —with real life experience balancing budgets and setting priorities for policies.
