About SD49

Senate District 49 Republicans is the official political unit of the Minnesota Republican Party that represents the interests of Republicans in the city of Edina, western portion of the city of Bloomington and a few precincts in Eden Prairie & Minnetonka. The Senate District is divided into two state House districts, 49A and 49B The Senate District 49 Republicans are governed by an executive committee, elected at the district's convention in the off-election years and serve for a two year term. Recent members were elected for a two-year term that expires in 2015.

Each Vice Chair position is responsible for coordinating the activities of two to four precincts within the district as well as serving as chair or participating in the activities of one or more standing committees. Executive Committee members are shown below.
